Confidence Isn’t Just About showing your Bare arse on socials
Scrolling through social media, it’s easy to feel like confidence has a single definition: wearing less, showing more, and putting it all on display for the world. But is that really what confidence is? And if you don’t feel comfortable doing that, does that mean you’re not confident?
Of course not. Confidence comes in many forms, and it’s time we stop defining it by how much boob and arse someone is willing to show.
Confidence Comes in Many Forms
For some women, confidence is wearing the dress they never thought they could pull off, leggings at the gym. For others, it’s finally speaking up in a meeting after years of staying quiet.
Confidence might be lifting heavier in the gym, talking on camera, setting boundaries, or simply feeling at home in your own body without needing validation and likes 👍 from Dave two doors down.
We need to stop pushing the idea that if you’re not showing your body online, you must be lacking confidence. Every woman should feel empowered in her own way—whether that means wearing a bikini, rocking a new gym outfit, or simply walking into a room with self-assurance.
Confidence isn’t about what you wear (or what you don’t wear); it’s about how you feel about yourself.
Confidence Is Owning Who You Are
If taking a photo in a bikini makes you feel empowered—fantastic do it! If confidence for you looks like getting in front of a camera for a professional shoot—do it!
But confidence isn’t only about what’s on the outside.
It’s also:
Standing tall in a room full of people, knowing you belong.
Saying “no” without guilt.
Lifting a weight you never thought you could.
Wearing whatever makes YOU feel good, not what society tells you to.
Choosing to prioritize your health, even when others don’t get it.
There’s a Difference Between Empowerment and Expectation
Now don’t get me twisted—I’m all for empowering women, I do that every single day. That’s my job! And if your goal is to feel confident in your body (which you should) and own your space, then fantastic—I’m here to help. Again, no judgment here.
But don’t look at these pictures and feel less than or like that’s the only way to be confident, because it’s not. Confidence isn’t a one-size-fits-all formula, and it shouldn’t be sold as one.
There’s a difference between feeling empowered in a bikini and feeling like you need or have to post one to prove you’re confident for validation.
And let’s be honest—there’s a difference between a beach selfie and an erotic photo. The internet is filled with both, and while every woman has the right to do what makes her feel good, we should also recognize that confidence and self worth isn’t only measured by how much you’re willing to reveal.
Confidence Is More Than What You See Online
I’ve seen so many messages suggesting that to be truly confident, you must be willing to put yourself out there in a certain way. But confidence isn’t about proving something to the world—it’s about feeling secure in yourself, whether that means wearing a bikini, speaking your truth, or simply living life on your own terms.
Confidence isn’t about how much you reveal, but how much you OWN who you are. If stripping off makes you feel empowered, great—absolutely again no judgment here, you do you.
But if standing strong, speaking up, lifting weights, or simply living life on your terms makes you feel powerful—that’s confidence too.
Don’t feel pressured into thinking confidence has to be and look a certain way—because it doesn’t.
You can be an Empowered Confident women in clothes too 😉
